Weekly Word Count #5

Middle of the summer and I feel like I should be by the beach frolicking. Except that I’m super pale and direct sun like that will make me roast in a half hour, even with SPF 50 on. Sigh. Probably why I’m made to sit indoors jamming notes down on a notepad, or typing away at my laptop.

Word Count: 7,450

What story I’m working on: Not as super productive this week, but to be fair, it’s a six day work week with other jobs, and I’ve been battling with a cold that’s been going around. Anyway, I did delve into some major sections of the Tuatha de Danaan story, and I’m reaching an exciting territory–the unknown. Up until now, there were a couple certain key scenes in mind, but after I pass the next one, it’s all up to Bailey and Landis to take the readers on a journey.

What I’m editing/marketing: Well, I’m currently editing Reflections of Ice, but throwing more weight behind Hunting for Spring, because I’m in the final edits stage. Love, love, love that story!

And as for marketing, my release date for Soul Solution was announced! July 24th is the day of reckoning : ) I’ll be a part of the Beyond Fairytales series that Decadent Publishing is running!

I split my time writing and working my day job as a massage therapist. If it’s a creative pursuit though, chances are I’ve dabbled in it. Hell, I’ve played around with soapmaking, beer brewing, cupcake baking, tea blending and everything else under the midday sun. At the end of the day, my constant is always reading, writing and editing. I’m an Aries-Taurus cusp–which to any astrology buffs should tell you plenty. I hit the East Coast convention circuit pretty hard and chances are, you can find me vending for Solstice Brews while simultaneously promoting my books.
