What story I’m currently working on:

Well guys, I’m closing in on this book. Hypnotizing Beat will not conquer me, especially when I use NaNo fuel to finish it! I am so excited! I’m in the final 5k of this book, since I just hit 66k. I didn’t think I’d ever reach iiiit. But wait, that’s not all! I also moved forward on Forged Futures, because that book’s been percolating in my head for awhile. I’m up to 11k, and I can’t wait to really dive full force in for the brunt of November!

What I’m editing/marketing:

Well, I’m for the most part done with edits on The Lies We Weave, though I’ll be doing some fine tuning. And this week, Bustles and Bells released, so if you get the chance over the holiday season, get your copy of this amazing steampunk anthology! Forged Alliances follows in a couple of weeks, which kicks off my Tribal series all over again! And coming soon after that will be Forged Decisions, available to pre-order on November 20th, and then release day on January 1st!

“They shot one of ours.” The lines deepened around his grey eyes. “I_d waste the whole army for spilling a drop of my crew_s blood.”

“Come on now, and miss out on the pleasant sound of my voice?” she continued, goading him on. “You wouldn’t deprive yourself of that now would you? If you like, I’ve got a half dozen limericks memorized. I could begin to recite them.” The redcap let out a grunt and stalked towards the desk. Her heart pounded faster in her chest, but she continued. “There once was an old man in a tree, who was horribly bored by a bee.”

What story I’m currently working on:

I swear, I’m going to finish Hypnotizing Beat by the end of the year. I keep telling myself that, because this book has been impossible to write. Which is a shame, because it’s got great banter, the characters are lively, and they go on amazing escapades. I SHOULD be loving the book, but I had too much plotting and planning I needed to do/revise to really sink myself into the feelings of it. Anyway, I hit 55k, so I’m pushing forward. And of course, I got some wordage down on Forged Futures so I’m up to 8k!

What I’m editing/marketing:

Well, I thought I’d be taking awhile on the final edit of The Lies We Weave, but I ended up speeding to the end of it. Which is good, because it leaves me wide open for when I’m finally done with Hypnotizing Beat. And I’ve got extra space to focus on Bustles and Bells coming out on October 29th and Forged Alliances set to release November 13th. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up A Reflection of Ice the first time around, now’s the best time! And on other news, Forged Decisions got a bump up for release date! It’s going up for pre-order November 20th, and will release January 1st!

Teaser of the week:

Some days, the sheer amount of enemies we attracted made me question if maybe our crew was a little too trigger happy. That maybe we_d started pissing in too many pots without thinking

The moment they stepped onto into the blazing Vegas sun, Kieran sagged against the wall. “I wanted to punch that fucker from the moment I met him.”

“I just wanted to fuck him,” Ren shrugged, his dark eyes dancing with mirth.

“We know,” Jett muttered. “I was ready to place a bucket beneath you to collect the drool.”

Who’s excited for book #2 in the Tribal Spirits series? This girl.

“Don_t stop for my sake—I was enjoying the show,” Navi drawled, leaning against one of the pillars in the center of the room. The damn panther could sneak around better than most

When Finn falls for Navi, a member of the East Coast Tribe, he’ll have to choose between the pack and family who saved him, and the unforgettable woman who’s made her mark.

Ever since Sierra and Dax mated, forming their alliance, Finn has been restless in his position as beta for the Red Rock pack. So when Navi, the gorgeous, lethal member of the East Coast Tribe, conscripts him for help breaking up the Landsliders’ drug running ring, he leaps on the opportunity. As they work together, their attraction deepens to more than comrades and far more than a one night stand. Except Navi isn’t sticking around town forever, and Finn has his own responsibilities tethering him to the Red Rock pack.

When the trail to the drug ring leads them to the man who murdered Finn’s parents, Finn’s forced to confront the fears he’s buried, and in the process, the connection between him and Navi grows scorching and unforgettable. However, with an underground meth-lab to bust and his parents’ murderer to take down, Finn throws his heart and soul into the fight, because he knows even if he survives this, he’ll be forever marked by the goodbyes to follow.

What story I’m currently working on:

Well, I slowed down a bit on Hypnotizing Beat again, which I’m at 48k with, but for good reason. A. This book is harrrrd *whines*, but also B. I hit 6k with Forged Futures! Hurray! I’m still working on pushing forward with Hypnotizing Beat and am determined to finish it by the end of the year, but Forged Futures is giving me all of the feelings. I’m smitten with the Tribal Spirits series and I’m so excited to finish it next year.

What I’m editing/marketing:

By some miracle, I have a polished, solid query for The Lies We Weave, so I’m just working on gussying up the final version of the book. But I’m absolutely descending back into release mode, because I’ve got Bustles and Bells coming out on October 29th, Forged Alliances set to release November 13th, aaaaaand A Reflection of Ice is back online with a brand new cover!

“Thanks for coming to my rescue earlier,” she responded, clutching tight to her knees as her chin burrowed into them. “I was seconds away from the same fate as my husband.”

His fingers twitched at the sight of her curled up on the couch, emanating a vulnerability that tangled with the fibers of his heart. She could fight—he’d seen her take care of the wolf out there, but she was so wide open with her grief, with her fear, with everything. He wanted to wrap his arms around her on instinct.

“Any time, doll,” he responded. “I’m a sucker for a dramatic entrance.” He tipped his fingers in her direction as he headed for the door.

What story I’m currently working on:

Slow but steady on Hypnotizing Beat! I hit 45k on it, and I’m continuing to make my strides forward. With any luck, I’ll finish it by the end of the month or at least by the end of November. However, since things are a bit slow for me lately and it’s still a slog with Hypnotizing Beat, I’m allowing myself to work on Forged Futures once I get my necessary word count done for the Discord’s Desire book. Because I really want to write Lana and Lucas’s story!

What I’m editing/marketing:

I’m currently diving into the final rounds of edits for The Lies We Weave AND even polishing up the query! Right now, I’m less in editing mode and more in buy-buy, sell-sell mode because Bustles and Bells, the steampunk Christmas anthology I’m a part of, is up for pre-order now, as is Forged Alliances which is set to release November 13th!

Even with the nerves running up and down his arms and legs like flame, Trevor allowed himself to grin and laugh with his bandmates. It was hard not to with the ridiculous way Ren piped, headbanging up and down to his own music. Or how Kieran fondled that mic like he owed it a favor. Even Jett dove into the fray, sneaking his own brand of misheard lyrics into their song, pickle instead of fickle, or heartbroken as Hoboken.

Forged Contracts is under…Contract!

animal-animal-photography-blur-397854

Forged Contracts is coming out next May with Totally Bound Publishing! Add it on Goodreads now!

Jeremiah Taylor’s responsibilities as the new pack beta are crushing him, especially with the unpredictable mood shifts since his shaman-supplied bipolar meds ran out. It’s the combination for doing something stupid, like kissing the one woman he’s never let himself pursue—his best friend Raven Takahashi.

When Finn left the Red Rock pack, Raven’s on and off again fling took her safety net with him—the one barrier keeping her from the raw and real way she feels around Jer. The moment the Pandora’s box opens after they kiss, she can no longer deny the sparks between them or hide from the demons of her past.

And when one of those demons shows up in Beaver Tavern representing an anti-shifter group to take over their land, Raven’s secrets threaten to get dragged into the light, which could cost her everything—her friends, her pack, and her home. However, if she and Jer don’t thwart the anti-shifter group’s takeover attempts, the entire Red Rock pack might find themselves banished from their own land.

What story I’m currently working on:

I’m continuing to make my baby steps forward with Hypnotizing Beat! It’s moving so much more slowly than my Tribal Spirits books, but at the same point, I’m still putting progress into the book, and it’s getting easier as I go. I’m at 36k, so I’m hoping to reach 60k by the end of the month. If I really find my groove, I might be lucky enough to finish the book before November!

What I’m editing/marketing:

I’m editing The Lies We Weave right now, which is going smoother than I thought! However, I keep diving down more worldbuilding rabbit holes which have been super fun. On the positive, Bustles and Bells, the steampunk Christmas anthology I’m a part of, will be coming out for pre-order and sale this month! AND, Forged Alliances is already on pre-order, set to release November 13th!

Those long fingertips, the ones she’d had dirty daydreams about, brushed along her chin. Danica looked up at him. Trevor didn’t say anything, but his gaze glowed with a hearthfire understanding that scorched right through her. His breathing had evened, and his hand no longer trembled. Danica’s chest felt hollowed, as if someone had clawed at her insides and scooped them out. They should be looking around for an escape, a distraction, anything. However, she could as much tear herself from Trevor’s gaze as she could escape a hurricane.
