What story I’m currently working on: 12349

I’m now on 32k in Alchemists and Arsonists and down to the final four chapters, which means this book will be complete in the next few weeks, and another finalized series under my belt! I’ll admit, I got sidetracked with all of the abject chaos of the virus and fluctuated work situations, but I know getting this book out the door will only help. And I’ve also run off with Eros Tales #3 because I’ve been wanting to write contemporary romance and this story’s been percolating since last year. I’m already at 8k in that book and it looks like it’ll be a fairly enjoyable write.

What I’m editing/marketing:

Well now I’m editing nothing, which is kind of nice after the big stint on Tempting Ballad. Which paid off, by the by, because Evernight picked it up already! Tempting Ballad’s set for a release of June 2020! I’m enjoying this break on editing my own stuff for now and I’ll begin to ramp up marketing for Rising for Autumn and Of Coppers and Cracksmen, the two next books to release for the year!

Teaser of the week:

“They shot one of ours.” The lines deepened around his grey eyes. “I_d waste the whole army for spilling a drop of my crew_s blood.”

Line of the week:

“Hey, Mitch,” Nell said, a hesitation in her voice that caused him to stop. “Do you mind swinging out front for a smoke?”

At that, Mitch turned around, his brows inching up his forehead. Nell stood on the steps above him, the shadows highlighting her gorgeous curves. Her mouth was poised and her eyes serious.

“Are you kidding me? You don’t smoke, Nels.”

Nell shrugged and brushed past him, offering a delicious glimpse of her tanned shoulders. “Once in awhile, though no one in the family knows. Mom would kill me.” She plucked the packet of Camels from the slim purse dangling at her side. “I’ll even share if you’re jonesin’”

His tongue slicked across his lips before he could help himself. He didn’t doubt for a moment that slip of suggestiveness from her was on purpose. The woman was a succubus in human form. He combed his fingers through his hair. They needed to get out of this stairwell—this proximity—and it wasn’t like he’d be able to competently flirt with Nell by his side.

“Fine, let’s grab a smoke,” he agreed, even as he wanted to slam his head against the wall.

Author:

I split my time writing and working my day job as a massage therapist. If it’s a creative pursuit though, chances are I’ve dabbled in it. Hell, I’ve played around with soapmaking, beer brewing, cupcake baking, tea blending and everything else under the midday sun. At the end of the day, my constant is always reading, writing and editing. I’m an Aries-Taurus cusp–which to any astrology buffs should tell you plenty. I hit the East Coast convention circuit pretty hard and chances are, you can find me vending for Solstice Brews while simultaneously promoting my books.
