What story I’m working on: Scrying for Summer—and the status is…..*drumroll* FINISHED!!!!! Yep, that’s right, folks. The Hunting for Spring sequel is finito, and I’ll be sending it off to beta-readers ASAP and then diving into edits.
What I’m editing/marketing: Speaking of edits, I also finished EDITING The Iron Legacy this week! So now it’s all query and synopsis time…my least favorite time.
Line of the week:
“You spent so long it makes me want to mess it all up.” She winked as she started down the stairwell ahead of him.
“Keep talking like that and I’ll let you,” he dared, the heat in his voice.

Line of the week: “Is this little surprise party all for me?” she drawled, walking straight into the center of the room.
So, this week was a crazy one, what with Wicked Faire over the weekend and my internet being down (which explains the blank post for a little bit). But with the internet being down, I DID get a lot of writing done still, so yay!
Word Count: 7,632 (I’m nearing the end! We’re talking final 10k left!!!)
What story I’m working on: Scrying for Summer! Just finished the big sexy scene!

“Life was bitter and uncompromising, broken only by short and glass-shard sweet moments like these.”
Got to get my work in this week, since my husband and our friends will be participating in Extra Life over our place this weekend. They’ll be gaming for 24 hours to support the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. My biggest explanation for the extraordinary wordcounts though? NaNoWriMo. I’m participating this year, folks, and going full force!
Word Count: 24,000
What story I’m working on: Tale of Two Airships–GUYS. I FINISHED TODAY. WOOO. HIT MY 80K WORD GOAL, TYPED THE END, AND ALL THOSE SHENANIGANS. Not going to lie, my brain is totally mush right now. Squishy squishy mush.
What I’m editing/marketing: Waiting on further news for Hunting for Spring edits…marketing Snatched because next week is its book birthday, and currently editing none of the things, because NaNoWriMo!
Halloween is tomorrow! What are you doing to prepare for it? Will you be taking munchkins out trick or treating? Or hitting up a fun party? I’ll be dressing up and throwing a party at my place as I do every year : ) I love Halloween!

What story I’m working on: Tale of Two Airships. Ramping up to the final section/big confrontation! And I got a new story percolating in my brain, something that’s starting to strike my inspiration once more.
What I’m editing/marketing: Got another round of edits in for Hunting for Spring, so I plowed through them, but I’ve also been pushing forward with edits of the Tuatha De Danaan story.
This week my focus has been on Solstice Brews and preparing for Steampunk Unlimited. I’m one of their guest authors there, but I’m also vending for my tea company and selling copies of Airship and Curiouser!

What story I’m working on: A Tale of Two Airships
What I’m editing/marketing: Letting a beta look over Airship Named Desire revision right now and then I’ll be finalizing it and republishing it. Which means I’ve had the spare time to begin editing the Tuatha de Danaan story ❤ I love that story so much!
Made it through Pope-ageddon in Philly, but that didn’t deter me from writing anyway. (Though it did deter a lot of folks who work in the city) Onwards and upwards!
Word Count: 3, 012 (slow progress on A Tale of Two Airships because my Hunting for Spring edits came in! Deadlines, yo)
What story I’m working on: A Tale of Two Airships (that’s right, bitches. We have a title now!) Also working on my column for BTSemag, as I’m their YA columnist now!
What I’m editing/marketing: Editing the revamp of An Airship Named Desire, and, I got edits in for Hunting for Spring, so I plowed through them earlier in the week.
