What story I’m currently working on:

Uh. So I was REALLY into writing this book apparently. I knocked out 10k on Monday alone, which was totally unexpected, and so Pomegranate’s Kiss is DONE guys. I really can’t believe it. But there was so much fun drama and now I should probably switch my focus onto editing pretty hard core, but I couldn’t help myself! I loved this couple so damn much, and I was really feeling the whole family series type of thing, so my brain is already dreaming up book three of the Eros Tales!

What I’m editing/marketing:

Outlier Heir’s just been idling while I write like a fiend, and the other focal point of mine has been micro-edits for A Thief’s Crusade. I’ve also started to work on some of the bigger changes, making the necessary alterations. I didn’t get as much feedback on this one, so I’m going to have to use my best judgement and really go over it well before I begin submissions. And I’m in major prep mode for the re-release next week of Hunting for Spring, Philadephia Coven Chronicles #1, and after finishing book two in the series, I’m even more excited for the launch of the brand new Eros Tales series, starting with Taking Root!

Teaser of the week:

“I needed a distraction. A drink, a good tumble, anything—even this sure-to-be- trouble punk show.”(1)

Line of the week:

“Let me help.” She reached out and grabbed Cerberus’s leash, sharing the load with Lex who passed her a grateful glance. The side shave she now rocked only made her hotter, and in a black wifebeater, threadbare jeans, and those Docs she never ditched, Lex was still the only one she fantasized about. Cerberus pranced around, unceremoniously slobbering all over the Dusquene family gravestones, and then trampling over the Mills.

“Normal couples take their dogs to the dog park,” Cam mentioned, a grin on her lips.

“Normal couples are boring as shit,” Lex shot back, heading towards the path that led to the water where weeping willows bowed, their long branches and leaves almost brushing the surface. “Thank fuck we’re nothing like that.”

What story I’m currently working on:

Apparently I went crazy with the word counts again this week, because I’m already at 35k in Pomegranate Kiss. Lex and Cam are hot and complicated, which is my favorite, and I’m just about to get into the heavy drama of the book since I’m past the mid-way point. I swear, this one is just clear as day in my head. I want to dive back into Tempting Ballad too, but I’ve been so preoccupied with Pomegranate Kiss that Renn and Kincaid didn’t stand a chance.

What I’m editing/marketing:

The Outlier Heir edit has taken a backseat again because I have the first of my beta feedback for A Thief’s Crusade, so I’m continuing to clean the prose up before I dive in and make some big changes. In two weeks, I have the re-release of Hunting for Spring, Philadephia Coven Chronicles #1, and I’m even more excited for the launch of the brand new Eros Tales series, starting with Taking Root!

Line of the week:

Cam strode a couple paces behind to walk in line with Lex while Nellie gabbed away with Danny on the way over to the night club.

Lex leaned in, her lips brushing against Cam’s ear accidentally-on-purpose. “You’re a goddamn tease, you know that? I’m going to enjoy peeling that dress off you the moment we get into our hotel room tonight.”

The heat in her voice seemed to transfer directly to Cam’s cheeks. “Are you trying to make me combust on the spot?” She thwacked Lex in the side, hoping the darkness hid the ruddy stain of her flush.

What story I’m currently working on:

Um. I went a little overboard the past week. The pace on Tempting Ballad slowed to only 6k, but that doesn’t even matter because Pomegranate Kiss blew up. I hit 21k in that book, which is crazy because I literally started it a week and a half ago. However, Lex and Cam won’t shut up, and their story is really interesting. There are certain times when writing is just *easy* and when you catch hold of that precious flow, you need to ride it out.

What I’m editing/marketing:

I slowed down on the Outlier Heir edit because I needed to make space for some other things, including beginning to dive into small, line edits on A Thief’s Crusade. Even though I’m still waiting on beta reader feedback, I couldn’t help but at least start to clean the prose up. If you’re looking for new books on the horizon, in July I’ve got two releases on the docket. The first one is the re-release of the Philadelphia Coven Chronicles with book one, Hunting for Spring, and I’m even more excited for the launch of the brand new Eros Tales series, starting with Taking Root!

Line of the week:

Lex returned to Cam’s mouth, drawing out the kiss until she pulled back. The sky was dark and the moon had peeked out to cast silver hues across the tombstones. They’d kissed right through the sunset. Cam’s chest heaved with the desire that charged the air between them, but as she had from the beginning, she let Lex take the reins.

“Looks like I was able to make you a spooky bitch, after all,” Lex cracked, her eyes gleaming with amusement. The joke shattered the tension between them, and Cam flicked her in the arm.

“You’re ridiculous. Come on, let’s see the rest of this cemetery of yours,” Cam said, snapping her bra back on and running her fingers through her hair to comb it back. She took the footsteps forward, and Lex followed, trailing behind a couple of places.

This was one of the few, lonely places where she could admit the truth, where her self-delusions crumbled like the tombstones surrounding her. No matter how much she tried to convince herself the opposite, she was falling for Cam.

What story I’m currently working on:

Well. I had plans of focusing on one book, taking my time, blah, blah, blah. However, both Tempting Ballad and Pomegranate Kiss have been vying for my attention all week. Tempting Ballad’s currently at 5k, while Pomegranate Kiss elevated to 7! I’m trying to put some distance between me and A Thief’s Crusade and the distraction is working. Both couples are going to be SCORCHING too. I’m really excited to keep jamming away at these.

What I’m editing/marketing:

Slogging through the intensive edit of Outlier Heir, which is an interesting experiment in distance, patience, and the power of editing. Whether you’re looking to dive into paranormal romance or contemporary, I’ve got some fresh reads for you! In the PNR category, I’ve got Siren’s Call out for free,  Hypnotizing Beat, and if you want lighter, try Color of a Soul. I’m also prepping for July when I have not only the relaunch of my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles with Hunting for Spring, but the brand new launch of the Eros Tales series, starting with Taking Root!

“I bet the clients come pouring in just for your award-winning attitude,” Mitch drawled, amusement in his eyes. He’d stopped piercing a couple of years ago for Inkspirations, but their friendship somehow weathered their born from the bowels of Hell dispositions.

“I’m not paid to pontificate, dickbag,” Lex continued. Truth be told, she owed Mitch a lot. He was one of the few friends who stayed after she’d gotten locked up, and even though they didn’t work together any more, they still hung out, whether it was taking the bikes for a drive or catching a shitty horror movie.

“Busting out your thesaurus now?” he joked, his eyes crinkled at the edges with his smile.

“Ladies love a linguist,” Lex shot back even as she focused on the sweep of the lines. That fugue state she descended into when she inked began to set in—the hyper-concentration, the way her hand swerved in a mesmerizing rhythm of lines and edges, only interrupted when she blotted the ink and dabbed more on. She was head over heels for this piece and they’d just started at the base of his arm, with plans of eventually doing a full sleeve. It was a messload of death and destruction, the black lines of the skulls, the crows flying overhead, and the flickering candle at the base, as flame ran up through the scenes.

What story I’m currently working on:

After finishing A Thief’s Crusade last week, I turned down to a slow simmer on the word count front. Still, 3k of a head start into Tempting Ballad (Discord’s Desire #3) isn’t bad! Of course, right as I start Tempting Ballad, ideas for Pomegranate Kiss (Eros Tales #2) keep creeping into view. I’m hoping to finish both of those books this year. Since I still have half a year ahead of me, I’ve got high hopes.

What I’m editing/marketing:

Catch the fae trifecta I released over the past two weeks! Siren’s Call is out for free,  and Hypnotizing Beat is out, and if you need a light beach read, check out Color of a Soul. Soon enough, I’ll be diving into edits for A Thief’s Crusade, but in the interim, I decided to challenge myself with an intensive edit on Outlier Heir. I think it’s really changed how it reads, and I think the earlier issues are becoming that much clearer. And in July, we’ve got the relaunch of my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles with Hunting for Spring, and the brand new launch of the Eros Tales series, starting with Taking Root!

“Ditch the cigarette,” Renn said, hooking his thumbs through the belt loops of his patched-up leather pants. His Doc Martens scuffed the asphalt as he closed the distance between them.

Kincaid’s lips pursed, amusement gleaming in those eyes. “Oh yeah? Any reason I’d give a damn about, or do you just feel like being bossy?” His deep bass rumbled through the air, and Renn sucked his lower lip through his teeth. He’d probably murder someone to hear that voice whisper dirty things in his ear.

Renn reached out and grabbed him by the lapels of his button-down. “Yeah, because I don’t want to fucking taste an ash tray when I make out with you.”

What story I’m currently working on:

I started out slow, but I’m hoping the latter half of the week picks up! By next week, I plan to be moving at full force through A Thief’s Crusade with a plan of finishing the book before the end of June. I’m at 57k as it currently stands. Chances are, I’ll probably start working on Tempting Ballad next, book three in the Discord’s Desire series. I’m down to the final six-ish chapters of A Thief’s Crusade, so it’ll depend on if I’ve got the time to delve into this.

What I’m editing/marketing:

Hey! I upheld my vow! Forged Redemption is turned in to my editor! That’s also why the word count output was low, because I was throwing everything into finishing the book. That means Tribal Spirits is going to be finished before the end of the year. If you haven’t checked out the series yet, now’s a great time to catch up since book four, Forged Futures, is out! On top of that, my Discord’s Desire series is continuing with Hypnotizing Beat, which actually came out today! On top of that, Color of a Soul is coming out in a few days, Hunting for Spring is coming out July 17th, and Taking Root on July 16th!

He whirled around and closed the distance between them. The rest of the crew might tease the hell out of him, but he could deal with their shit. Grif gripped the back of Dan’s neck and pulled him towards him. His lips descended, pressing against Dan’s soft mouth, opened in invitation.

Dan melted against him, the heat between them incendiary. He tasted syrup sweet, and the scent of his coconut and lime cologne amplified his arousal. Something powerful reached inside his chest and tugged. Grif had operated off of listening to those tugs in his gut from the start, and he’d followed his intuition when he chose each of his Outlaws. That same intuition told him Dan was important, that he was worth holding onto.

Grif’s grip around his nape tightened for a second, and he swept his tongue through to deepen the kiss before he pulled back.

“Don’t take any stupid risks,” Grif murmured against his mouth.

“Already did.” Dan’s eyes gleamed with a knowing that settled inside him, one that brushed across his skin like fresh sunlight.

What story I’m currently working on:

I hit 53k on A Thief’s Crusade, which isn’t by any means staggering, but I’ve picked up the pace again at least, and that’s a thing. However, I forgot that I have a convention coming up as well as two book releases in the next week, so that’s got to switch to priority numero uno. So, the probability of me finishing the book before the end of the month is highly unlikely, but I’m definitely slated to complete it in June.

What I’m editing/marketing:

I know I was hoping to get Forged Redemption in to my editor before Forged Futures comes out, but then I realized my schedule was just bananas, and so it’s going to have to settle by getting wrapped up before the end of the month. It’s doable, but I just need a wee bit more time. And this book deserves proper time and attention to, since it’s the final one of the series. If you’re looking to catch up on the Tribal Spirits series, now’s the time! With Forged Futures coming out next Tuesday and Forged Contracts on sale for 99 cents, you can get all four books for a super reasonable price. If not, you’ll have plenty of time to catch up, because it probably won’t be until the latter end of the year that we’ll see Forged Redemption going up for sale.  Oh yeah, and Tales from the Skies comes out TOMORROW, and Color of a Soul comes out June 3rd, while Hunting for Spring just went up for pre-order, which will be coming out July 17th!

He had a problem and his name was Grif Blackmore.

Grif licked his lips as he closed the space between them. “Funny meeting you here.”

Before Dan could respond, Grif’s hot palm slipped behind his neck. Grif’s lips descended on his, and every thought in his head simply vanished. His tongue snaked into his mouth, those kisses fast turning incendiary as he leaned in against Grif’s hard muscle, the solace in this man’s arms becoming an addiction. Grif kissed like he wanted to possess, like he wanted to devour, with a hungry strength that Dan had been drawn to from the start.
