West Chester Library Signing!

14063932_518792924985080_6803078426362608825_n

This Saturday I had my first signing at West Chester Library! It was so surreal sitting at my table and having folks at the library come up and view me as an author. I’ve sold my books alongside my tea at many events in the past, but this was the first time I was standalone as an author, which was unnerving to say the least. But I also have the best friends and family in the world, and they came out full force to support me. Honestly, it was one of those moments that if in the future I’m feeling truly alone, I’ll be able to recall the way my heart leapt at each person to peek in through those library doors to see me. I can’t quite express the gratitude welling in my heart at that outpouring of support, but I hope they all know it made an indelible mark on me. So, so much love for my wonderful readers and wonderful friends!

Steampunk World’s Fair 2015

Got back from Steampunk World’s Fair last night and did some decompressing for about five minutes before getting to work on all of my Solstice Brews tea stuff. It was an absolute blast. Great people, great energy, and memorable times.

IMG_2265We had a vending room sing-a-long, which has become a con staple for me, as well as ridiculous shenanigans. Most importantly though, I got to see my con family again, as well as meet new people. Did I mention, I *love* meeting new people?

My heart warmed every time someone told me they’d read An Airship Named Desire, or bought a book and asked me to sign. I was so flattered I could explode with happiness, like I am every time I do these events. I gave out all of my Poisoned Apple audio samples too, so hopefully folks will get to listen to the wonderful vocal talents of Sally Rouge!

All in all, I had a blast and I want to thank everyone who stopped by my stand and chatted with me! See you lovelies next year!

Upcoming Events: Wicked Faire

This weekend, I’ll have a table at Jeff Mach’s Wicked Winter Renaissance Faire which will be taking place in Princeton, NJ!

If you’re an East Coaster, you won’t want to miss this 10th year celebration, February 20-22nd!

I’ll be vending for Solstice Brews, my tea company, but I’ll also be unveiling my Novel-Teas, so my readers can get a full experience while going through one of my novellas or novels!

An Airship Named Desire Tea- tart citrus earl grey

By the Sea Tea- Lavender, mint, and chamomile blend

Snatched Tea- Oolong, blueberry, and lemongrass

Poisoned Apple Tea- Honeybush, hibiscus, and dried apples

And last but not least, Stolen Petals Tea- Irish Breakfast, rose petals, and juniper

After they debut at Wicked, I’ll be making batches to put up at my Etsy shop.

Regardless, if you are going to Wicked Faire, come by my stand, even if you just want to talk writing! It should be an absolute blast!
