Meet the Writer Wednesday- Nancy Sartor

It’s that time of week again, where we meet another awesome writer! Everyone has a different process and style of approach when it comes to writing, and here’s a glimpse inside a new one!

Today let’s welcome Nancy Sartor!

Do you have a favorite quote about writing that speaks to you?

There’s nothing to writing. All you have to do is sit down at the typewriter and bleed. –Ernest Hemingway

What inspires you to write?

The thought that the idea of the story will disappear if I don’t get it down soon.

Ah, I know that feeling! Do you have any characters you feel like you could explore forever?

Cush who is a giant Ethiopian in the time of Christ is my favorite character of all time. He is wise and funny and difficult to topple.

If you could go anywhere on a dream vacation, where would you go?

Ireland because I am an auburn-haired lassie of the Auld Sod

Do you have a project you’re working on that you can’t wait to share?

My current MIP is a paranormal set in historic Rugby, Tennessee. I am very excited about it.

When you’re not writing, what are you tuning into on TV?

Game of Thrones. That writer has cajones!

What about in the book-o-sphere? Any books you reading?

FOR THE DEAD by Timothy Hallinan

What’s your astrological sign?

I am a Gemini with the moon in the first house and Gemini rising.

When you’re reading a book, do you have any pet peeves that might make you put it down?

I want reasons for what happens. If a man and a woman are to spring apart and then come back together and then spring apart, I want a good, solid reason for each springing apart and each coming back.

Thin characters who act and react but don’t feel.

I’m a POV nazi.

Where can readers find you and your books?
