What story I’m currently working on: I was truckin, truckin, truckin the weeks before, but this week was a bit of a slowdown! Well. -ish. I hit 29k with Forged Alliances, though I’m hoping to reach 40k by the end of next week if the story keeps ramping up like it seems to be doing. And a lot of my effort this past week was for the Asgard Lounge sample that I started–I got my first three chapters done at 9k, and now I’m working on an outline/synopsis sort of dealie. Storytime!!

What I’m editing/marketing: I’ve been floating along with edits on the Steampunk with a Twist story–I’ll definitely have that ready by next week. And once I’m done that, I’m going to dive back into my YA winter fairytale from two years ago and re-edit that before trying to submit again! On the audio book front, An Airship Named Desire has been approved and is heading to retailers! I’ll update here first when it comes out!

Teaser of the week:

Dax_s grin widened, revealing teeth as he leaned against the bar. “Darling, if you wanted me somewhere private, all you had to do was ask,” he drawled. The languid way he carried h

Line of the week:

Navi lifted her bottle. “Well then, it sounds like we’re both fucked.”

His mouth quirked at that, and he clinked his beer to hers. “If that’s what you want, darling, I’ve been waiting to peel that dress off you from the moment I pulled into this lot.” The heat in his voice burned hotter than the August sun, and Navi’s core clenched tight at his words.  He scanned her with a predator’s intensity, and she could see his wolf clear in his eyes.

What story I’m working on: Hit 21k with Future King, which has been slow moving as of late. Meanwhile, things are really picking up pace with the shifter story and I’m starting to try and come up with a title. Any suggestions? I just hit 28k there and reached sort of the midway point of the story and where it’ll unfold from here.

What I’m editing/marketing: Just completed the final edit of Waking for Winter. Can’t wait to submit the final book in the Philadelphia Coven Chronicles to Tamzin! And on February 7th, book three, Rising for Autumn comes out, and I’m beyond excited for that release. I’m hella proud of that book.

Line of the week:

Well, Dax had wanted distraction, but he didn’t think meeting the infamous Tribe with a raging hard-on was putting his best foot forward. Still, the bloom of Sierra’s arousal in the air wasn’t helping tamp down the intense lust she inspired in him. He sucked in a deep breath and focused on nasty ass things, like wrinkled, paper-thin skin, the moldy can of tomatoes he had in the fridge, and the bottle of midori he’d killed as a teen, turning his puke neon green for days. By the time she opened the bar door, he was ready to face whoever waited inside.

What story I’m working on: Slow but steady with Future King and my summer Shifter story!

What I’m editing/marketing: Chasing Fate is what I’m primarily editing, though I’m also going through the audio files for the Snatched audio book to mark edits for the narrator. Hoping to have it released before the end of the year!

Line of the week:

Sierra controlled herself, just barely, as she forced her claws back into place. Out of everyone, she had to rein in the leash on her beast, because as alpha, she set the example for her pack. “You’d figure with so many pups under one roof, a kitty cat wouldn’t be stupid enough to wander in.”

“Oh you know, curiosity and all that,” he flashed her a grin, white teeth gleaming against his tanned skin. “You folks give the warmest welcomes to newcomers.” He tugged on the end of his baseball cap before crossing through the crowded bar without a care. The cocky bastard ignored the bristling wolves on either side begging to leap forward, each lethal in their own right—either he had brass balls or lost his common sense a couple states back. More than a couple members of her pack glanced her way, waiting permission to lunge for the bastard and take him down.

“Well, when we get love notes as charged as yours, tends to inspire passionate responses.” Sierra forced a grin, baring her teeth in the process.
